UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital is seeking individuals interested in making a difference and interacting with patients! Patients on medical/surgical units are recovering from surgical procedures and other illnesses.
Med Surg volunteers will:
1. Provide on-going support to the patients, families and friends to support Finley philosophy of patient-centered care of “Providing the best outcome for every patient, every time.”
2. Provide the non-clinical extras and aid in decreasing fear and anxiety by making everyone feel comfortable and cared for.
3. Provide support to staff by stocking supplies, returning wheelchairs to front entrance, running lab specimens, cleaning charts, etc.
