Every event has its quiet heroes, and at A Merry Millwork Market, that’s you. As a Tear Down & Clean Up volunteer, you’ll help put the street back to bed after a day full of lights, laughter, and holiday cheer.
You’ll help break down booths, pack up decorations, and return the space to its usual calm, leaving no trace behind. It’s satisfying work that appeals to people who love order, sustainability, and the feeling of finishing what’s started. You’ll also get a unique chance to connect with the people who make the market possible—sharing stories, swapping tips, and being part of the wrap-up camaraderie that few others experience.
You’ll be one of the last to leave, witnessing the full impact of the day, and walking away with a sense of pride that comes from knowing you played a key role in making the event a success—from start to finish. If you like tangible results, teamwork, and a quiet sense of accomplishment, this is a role made for you.
Please arrive at the Courtyard Entrance Welcome Booth, midway between Jackson and Washington Streets on 10th Street, at the start of your shift. This is where you’ll check in, meet your team, and get any materials or instructions from the Volunteer Manager, Theresa, before your shift begins.
