The Julien Dubuque International Film Festival (JDIFF) is dedicated to bridging cultures through the education and promotion of the arts through independent film. JDIFF acknowledges emerging filmmakers from around the World and is committed to bringing diverse, world class entertainment to the heart of the Midwest.
What We Do
This seven-day event brings to Dubuque the finest in independent features, documentaries and short films from around the world and attracts an eclectic mix of filmmakers and film enthusiasts to attend. All come together to watch, discuss and support important and interesting films and enhance the festivals standing as a leading promoter of the arts, culture and education in film. JDIFF also hosts events throughout the year.
We are now preparing for our 15th Festival on April 18 - 25, 2026.
