iJAG

iJAG is an independent, private, nonprofit organization that was established in 1999 for the purpose of bringing personalized relationships into multiple communities across Iowa and Illinois. The program was initially created for high school seniors as a school-to-work program. iJAG has evolved into an organization serving more than 1500 students per year through our belief that every child matters. Our model is built around personalized relationships giving our staff the ability to live this out daily as they care for the children in our programs. In our 15th year, iJAG has mentored more than 11,000 students who were at the highest risk of disengaging from school or dropping out of school without the skills and motivation needed to succeed in higher education and the workforce.

Iowa Jobs for America’s Graduates (iJAG) is the only non-profit 501 c (3) organization in Iowa specifically created as a bipartisan public and private partnership with a laser focus on implementing a nationally successful model recognized for increasing graduation rates, reducing dropout rates; providing one year of follow-up supports after high school.
