Step into a role that brings a little extra magic to A Merry Millwork Market! As a Horse & Carriage Booth Volunteer, you’ll help guests enjoy one of the most festive parts of the market—rides through the Millwork District.
You’ll assist with ticketing, guide visitors on and off the carriage, and help the team keep everything running smoothly. Whether you’re stationed at the tent, managing cash and donation boxes, or supporting the carriage volunteers, you’ll be part of creating seamless, joyful experiences for families and friends.
Beyond the logistics, you’ll get to chat with visitors, share in the excitement of the rides, and see the delight on children’s faces as they step into a little holiday adventure. Each interaction you have—every smile you help create—adds to the festive spirit and supports local nonprofits that benefit from the market.
By the end of your shift, you’ll have helped make the market feel welcoming, fun, and full of holiday cheer, leaving guests with memories they’ll treasure and a sense of pride in the role you played.
Please arrive at the Courtyard Entrance Welcome Booth, midway between Jackson and Washington Streets on 10th Street, at the start of your shift. This is where you’ll check in, meet your team, and get any materials or instructions from the Volunteer Manager, Theresa, before your shift begins.
